B I O G R A P H Y
Chorus Nylander, was born December 18, 1993 in the upscale Los Angeles suburb La Habra Heights. He is a smooth jazz saxophonist, an actor, and a TV/Radio personality based in Southern California. He is gaining much notoriety for his commanding stage presence as he stands at 7 feet tall. He began playing the saxophone in the 6th grade. Chorus decided to pursue music as a living after meeting and befriending his biggest idol Dave Koz, who remains a friend and major influence in Chorus' music.
Chorus spent many years living in Daytona Beach, Florida where he had frequently performed and was featured on local artist's albums. He has since moved back to his native Southern California, where he currently resides.
In March of 2013, Chorus attended the first annual Warren Hill Saxophone Summit, where he had the honor of performing with saxophonists Michael Lington and Jeff Kashiwa. Other notable musicians Chorus has performed with are: Eric Marienthal, Will Donato, Max Valldeneu, Jonathan Fritzen, Tracy Carter, Jay Gore, Andre Barry, Ricky Lawson, U Nam EA, Wayne Braxton, Mike Woods, Hans Zermuehlen, Michael Kennedy, Darryl Williams, Frank Richardson III and many more.
Chorus has written several original songs, his best known is "Ashley" a love song he wrote when he was only 16. His music tends to be slow and romantic and heavily influenced by Pop and R&B music.
Chorus receives private saxophone lessons from one of his biggest idols the legendary saxophonist Eric Marienthal, who is one of the most respected artists in smooth jazz and all instrumental music.

Chorus is also an experienced broadcaster on television and radio in San Diego and Los Angeles. He hosts a radio show called "Saturday Slow-Jams" in L.A. on Urban Soul Radio, where he has gotten the chance to interview many legendary R&B artists! He was also on the TV show "North County News", an Emmy award winning news show, where he has been an anchor, reporter, Camera-operator, writer and producer. He is also a sports reporter on the Emmy award winning show Prep Sports Live. Past episodes can be seen on www.prepsportslivesd.com. Chorus is a part of a brand new TV morning show called "Palomar Live" aires at 9:30am PST on Time Warner and Cox Cable networks channel 16, AT&T channel 99 in San Diego County.
Chorus auditioned and was selected to do a voice over on a commercial for the Motion Picture and Television Fund (MPTF), which is a foundationed owned by Ron Howard and Steven Spielberg. He has also gotten the chance to act on the silver screen.
